Spotted Salamander

A Spotted Salamander is a type of Mole salamander which gets their name from the fact that it is commonly found in underground tunnels and its ability to burrow under leaves, moss, and other debris. This particular fellow was found by a friend's daughter, and after surviving a show and tell trip to school and a photo shoot, was returned to his home.
