My yard seems to be the perfect habitat for Chipping Sparrows: plenty of perches, 30+ Dwarf Alberta Spruces for nesting, and a lot of open grass for feeding. We usually have several nesting pairs and this year is no exception. This one is nesting in one of the bushes adjacent to the patio.
